Shipping policy

We ship items out as soon as possible on confirmation of the payment. In general, you will receive your item within the chosen shipping time frame (3~6 business days by Courier, 7~21 business days by Airmail). If you have any questions about the shipping time on a specific item, please contact us.

We do not deliver ayurvedic products which are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States of America to the addresses in the United States of America.

Buyer and Seller Responsibilities

   Responsibilities of the Seller

  • Export Packaging: Preparing the cargo so it can be exported.
  • Loading Charges: Any costs associated with loading the cargo onto the truck at the seller’s warehouse.
  • Delivery to Port/Place: The trucking or delivery fees associated with transporting the cargo to port or place of export.
  • Export Duty, Taxes & Customs Clearance: All costs and responsibilities associated with exporting the cargo.
  • Origin Terminal Handling Charges: Also known as OTHC, the seller is responsible for these charges.
  • Loading on Carriage: The seller must cover all costs to load the cargo onto the carriage. 
  • Freight Charges: The shipping cost to transport the cargo to the buyer’s destination. 
  • Destination Terminal Handling Charges: Also known as DTHC, the seller is responsible for these charges.

   Responsibilities of the Buyer

  • Unloading at Destination: The buyer is responsible for any costs associated with unloading the cargo once it arrives via truck to their final destination, usually a warehouse.
  • Import Duty, Taxes & Customs Clearance: The buyer is responsible for all importation costs associated with the shipment. In the event a customs examination is required, the buyer is responsible for the exam’s costs. 

Weight Calculation

We use volumetric weight when determining the weight of the shipments we send and we understand that this is not always an easy concept to grasp. We want to break down the details for you to make it as clear as possible. The cost of transporting a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies on an aircraft, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight. The volumetric weight of a shipment is a calculation that reflects the density of a package. A less dense item generally occupies more volume of space, in comparison to its actual weight. The volumetric or dimensional weight is calculated and compared with the actual weight of the shipment to ascertain which is greater; the higher weight is used to calculate the shipment cost.

Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the length x height x width of a package and dividing the result by a volumetric factor. That factor varies with the unit of measure. Since we use kilograms to calculate shipping charges, we use the following formulas to calculate volumetric weight: Please be aware that the shipping weight indicated on your merchant order confirmation may be based on ground shipping or domestic air shipping from the merchant to our hub location.

Depending on the carrier and size of the package, the Merchant’s ground shipping charges may or may not utilize volumetric weight calculation. If the carrier used by the Merchant does use volumetric weight calculation for ground or for domestic air, the volumetric weight calculation will use a different volumetric factor and the volumetric weight will be lower than that used for international air shipments.

Local Delivery

Items will be delivered via a courier service to the address specified by you on your order. There will be a delivery charge based on your location and weight of the package as per below schedule:

International Delivery

We also deliver internationally using couple of options (a) Registered Airmail of Sri Lanka Postal Service (b) Use of International Courier Service. We always use professional couriers to ensure that your package is delivered on time and in good condition.

Return & Refund Policies

We take pride in delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. However, we have encountered instances of fraudulent orders, particularly concerning , where customers falsely claim that the product is damaged upon first use, seeking refunds under the guise of receiving defective items. Please be advised that such deceptive practices will not be tolerated.

Return Procedure:

Damaged, Incorrect, or Incomplete Orders: If your order arrives damaged in transit, contains the wrong product, or is incomplete, please notify us immediately within 7 days of receiving the goods. We require the damaged items to be returned to us for inspection before any refunds or replacements can be processed. We take this measure to prevent fraudulent claims and ensure the quality of our products.

Change of Mind or Incorrectly Ordered Products: Should you wish to return a product due to a change of mind or because you ordered the wrong item, we accept returns provided that the product is undamaged, unused, and in its original packaging. Cancellation of Orders: To cancel an order, please inform our team before we dispatch your order. Once dispatched, additional fees may apply.

Use a traceable carrier for returns and exchanges; we are not responsible for packages lost in transit without a tracking number.

All products must be returned in their original undamaged retail packaging within 7 days of delivery. Products not meeting this condition may be rejected for return, and return courier fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
